I finally got my chance to cook with Carissa! I was always so jealous of Mandy. We made breadsticks. SO THERE MANDY!!! And Carissa wore her cute apron. I didn't wear an apron, and then I got butter on my shirt. Oh and Carissa was being creepy with the knife.

Finals Week and Moving Out!
Well this week was finals week and it wasn't too stressful... But my roommates and I are so glad to be done. We've spent all day packing and we're all leaving to go home tomorrow morning! We're all on the summer/fall track, so we won't see each other again until April!
Allyssa is packing up all her stuff - she's going back to Alaska!

My Final Cake

just an update
Ok so since carissa was complaining that I haven't updated my blog for a while, I decided to add a few pictures.
It was Kristine's half birthday, so we went all out for it, because none of our birthdays are this semester. so we got her presents and a cake! it was great.
We went on a shopping trip to Idaho Falls! This is Jessica, me, and Allyssa trying on dresses. And no, we didn't buy any of them.
This is the latest cake that I made in cake decorating... it was a royal icing project.
We made a fort in our living room!

My Grandma Wainwright sent me 20 dollars!!! Yay!!! It was like I had won the lottery!

My New Calling
Thursday, October 9, 2008
Here are some highlights of us girl cousins at Grandpa and Grandma's house. This is after the Relief Society General Broadcast... I think you can tell that we were spiritually uplifted.
Here Carissa is playing with the toys at Grandpa and Grandma's house. They generally supply these toys for the younger grandchildren, but Carissa was having so much fun with them. We didn't have the heart to tell her that she's too old for that kind of stuff. HAHA!
Here's Rachel, smiling as usual.
Here's Carissa with the body of a pig. Maketh me a sandwich wench!

Carissa's Birthday Cake!
an interesting night
Well my roommate Kristine would kill me if she knew i was posting this, but it was too funny. She cut up a pair of sweatpants and wore one leg on her head and one leg around both of her legs, and then she did a crazy dance, so i naturally captured it on video, and put it on youtube.
Also, the same night that this happened, my roommate Allyssa hurt her knee and had to go to the emergency room. This is a picture of her wearing her leg brace. She only had to wear it for a few days and now she's completely fine.

Before/After
Today in my cake decorating class, I decorated a cake and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. It's a lot better than the one I made last week! I just thought I would post both pictures so you guys can see the difference! :)

Our New Pet Frankie!
Isn't he adorable??!!! This is our new dorm pet, even though we can't technically have pets. My roommate Kristine found him this morning hanging around some dumpsters and she brought him home and fed him some tuna. He's been hanging around our dorm since then.
We named him Frankie! We brought him in and he was sleeping on our couch and he is so cute! We even have a box outside our apartment that he can sleep in, and a water bowl. And Kristine made a nametag for him, attached to a cute bow.

Hey! My first post on my new blog! Here I am, at BYU-Idaho, just trying to adjust. I don't have much to say except my roommates are really sweet and I love them! There is a running joke here that the nickname for BYU-Idaho is BYU-I DO! So here's a picture of my roommates Allyssa and Kristine showing how willing they are to say "I do."
